Cows.

Lucy was rescued at just 6 months old, from the local dairy farm that was shutting down here on The Big Island. Until her rescue, Lucy never felt anything but concrete under her feet. Now she’ll be able to live her best life with us at BIFS as an ambassador, teaching people that cows are our #friendsnotfood.

By sponsoring Lucy for just $10 a month, you are helping us give her top quality nutrition, basic medical care, and a loving, safe place to call home.

Mamma is a four year old cow, and mommy to our baby, Mia. She has lived her entire life as a milk cow, being artificially impregnated, giving birth, and then having her babies taken away just so that humans could drink her milk. No more! Mamma will live the rest of her life here at BIFS as the matriarch of our cow family and will be able to raise her baby, Mia, without ever worrying about her being taken away from her.

By sponsoring Mamma for just $10 a month, you are helping us give her top quality nutrition, basic medical care, and a loving, safe place to call home.

Mia was just four weeks old when rescued from the dairy industry. She is the baby to our matriarch, Mamma. Unlike most diary babies, Mia was born in a pasture and not taken from her mom because the dairy farm was closing down and they were no longer planning to take her mom's milk. Innocent Mia will never know the dairy industry and will live the rest of her life here at BIFS with her mom.

By sponsoring Mia for just $10 a month, you are helping us give her top quality nutrition, basic medical care, and a loving, safe place to call home.

Renee was just 6 months old when rescued from the local dairy farm that was shutting down. She is special in color because she is part Holstein, part Jersey- two popular breeds for dairy cows. Until her rescue, Renee never felt anything but concrete under her feet. Now she’ll be able to live her best life with us at BIFS. She'll never know the horrors of the dairy industry and will, instead, be an ambassador, teaching people that cow hugs are life changing!

By sponsoring Renee for just $10 a month, you are helping us give her top quality nutrition, basic medical care, and a loving, safe place to call home.
