Join us for a gentle Thanksgiving event where we count our blessings not by eating animals, but by celebrating them. This family-friendly event will kick off in the afternoon with a sanctuary open house, where guests will be able to explore the sanctuary freely, meeting the residents. Our volunteers will share resident stories and species-specific facts, and many of the animal residents are sure to come up and say hello! Guests will also have the chance to celebrate our turkeys- Echo and Jupiter- by giving them their favorite treats, provided by us.
Once the open house ends, we will meet everyone at our dinner destination (TBD), where we will have a delicious plant-based meal together. Guests will have the opportunity to browse our merchandise, sign up for animal sponsorships, and view our silent auction. Gift baskets and handcrafted items will be up for grabs to the highest bidders! During dessert, we'll hear from our founder, Paula Buck; and after, we'll have music and fun until the sun goes down!
If you'd like to donate a basket, become a sponsor, or help with the event, please contact one of our fundraising coordinators: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for more information.
